To maintain purity of the product to be transported through a pipeline there are specific requirements regarding the maximum allowable content of water within the line. So, drying is mandatory before commissioning especially
for dry crude oil or dry gas services. GPS has the experience and expertise to ensure that your pipeline will meet or exceeded the drying specifications in the least amount of time at the lowest possible expense.

operation.
Global Pipelines offers three methods Air Drying, Drying using Nitrogen and Vacuum Drying to dry the pipeline.
- Air drying is the process of absorbing water left by the dewatering operation.
- Nitrogen has a dew point of – 60, it can also be used as a drying medium.
- Vacuum drying is reducing pressure in a pipeline by the removal of free water by that pipeline.
